It is an operational, full-size, five-barreled Bulldog Gatling gun, with a gravity-driven. Colt's back in the Gatling gun business.I've been looking into Steampunking FO4 myself. But honestly, I think retaking the Castle and settling Spectacle Island is your best bet. Starlight MIGHT work if you're going for a more faux-futuristic steampunk look, and it has a lot of space to build on as well as a place to put a couple of water purifiers if need be. Sanctuary actually has a lot of buildings you can scrap for some nice, flat space but you'd be surrounded by modern buildings (even emptied). Trying to think of which one of the CC homes might work, but I'm not sure.I almost wanna say Charlestown Condo, which looks like it might have some elements that could Flats is too modern (also the top floor does NOT work and I haven't found a mod yet on PS4 to make it work).so you'd probably have to use the wood and some metal to make a home of your own. I sadly do not have any of the major DLC packs, and I only have some of the CC stuff. (Fyi, the island near there is Spectacle Island, and you'd have a LOT of potential with its build area and the retaken Castle nearby.) A mad scientist sort of look would definitely be perfect without the militia hat, using pipe weapons and possibly the assault rifle (Idk if the minigun would work for that look, but it might? maybe?).Īnd of course working with the Minutemen has its own perks, especially if you take the Castle. Actually, though, a lab coat and welding goggles could work if you're going for a Man of Science look (or Woman of Science just using the Old World term for scientist here).

The spike armor is a nice idea, as long as you get it sans hood/mask, and of course welding goggles are an absolute essential the militia hat is a very nice addition to that look.Īccess to the Prydwyn is essential, and I think working in secret (going into RP here) with both the BoS and the Railroad is a perfect idea. I also agree with the assault rifle idea, as it has the right look minigun could certainly work. I would say any pipe weapons would be a top choice for Steampunk. (Sorry, I know this is a few months old, but thought I'd weigh in.)
